- Another advantage of the registered version is that you can deny access to
- certain ports of your bbs. Using the non-registered version of AmiTCP, you
- potentially have a "wide open" system to a knowledgeable hacker. I used the
- non-registered system on my bbs for about 4 months (while I tested and
- registered the sucker). During that time, I found several "connections" from
- unkown sites doing unknown things. (Like the modem was SERIOUSLY transfering
- data)

- Using the registered method, I was easily able to dis-allow all TCP
- connections EXCEPT the ones I want (have drivers to protect me!).
